SF Pen Show

I finally managed to get to the SF Pen Show! It happens every year and I’m never around, but this time I made it on the last day. I was stunned by how many pen enthusiasts there were!

It wasn’t just pens, but also all sorts of stationery, inks, and merch. It was interesting that there were so many Japanese vendors there.

I tested out all sorts of pens, generally with flexible nibs, and made a difficult choice between 3 beautiful vintage pens…

… and this is the one I chose! It’s tiny, so it fits easily into my bag, and has a super-flexible nib so it has a wide downstroke. It might not be the prettiest pen in the world, but it felt so natural in my hand and writes so well, I love it!
